Step On

Step On is a pre-employability programme for 16-19-year-olds who require support to build confidence and prepare for the next steps in their employability journey. Young people participate in a series of interactive wellbeing workshops, designed to provide them with the tools to better manage their wellbeing and deal with challenges. The programme is run in partnership with local organisations such as Raith Rovers Community Foundation and the Pars Foundation. Our partners introduce a physical activity element to the project, highlighting the positive link between physical activity and emotional health. Young people on the programme build confidence, resilience, and life skills through practical and engaging activities.  Participants also complete the Employability Award qualification and SCQF Level 4. Group work runs 3 days per week for 12 weeks, with ongoing one-to-one support available for individuals.
