LinkLiving Board Members

Overseeing LinkLiving is our Board of Management, who all give their time voluntarily to ensure LinkLiving is well run, financially stable, and achieves its objectives.  

Board members are drawn from all walks of life and together provide the professional and personal expertise needed to govern LinkLiving effectively and in compliance with regulatory standards.  

Dr Iain Campbell - Chair

Dr. Iain Campbell serves as Chair of the board at LinkedLiving, bringing extensive leadership experience from roles such as Secretary General, Deputy Head of Legal, and Chairman of the board, and Executive Director in various other organisations. Far from your typical medic, Dr. Campbell has been through both medical and law school and has significant public affairs experience. Dr Campbell has been involved in policy development, and has worked closely with Members of Parliament and provided written and oral evidence to parliamentary select committees.

As Lead Director for Healthcare Leadership Academy Scotland and Head of AI Policy, Ethics, and Transformation at the HLA, Dr. Campbell shapes organisational policies and fosters AI adoption. He also works as a locum consultant geriatrician, leading multidisciplinary teams to care for vulnerable patients

Caroline Cuthbertson

Caroline Cuthbertson has worked in corporate banking for over 30 years.  She is currently Operations Director for Crosswind Developments.  Caroline is a chartered banker, chartered accountant and holds an MBA.  She is also a board member of the Link Group, and is treasurer of charity Planning Aid Scotland.  Caroline brings a wide variety of experience but in particular financial, risk management and leadership expertise.

Shona Cargill

 Shona Cargill

Shona Cargill has a background in developing social and environmental sustainability, delivering affordable warmth and tackling climate change.  She is the Lead Officer (Sustainable Development) for Fife Council.  Shona has been with LinkLiving’s board since 2007 and is a former chair.  Volunteering with LinkLiving, Shona has been encouraged and thrilled to be involved in supporting improvements in service delivery and learning from service users’ experiences of how LinkLiving can support them to work through negative impacts on their lives.

David Kemp

David Kemp

David Kemp is the Homelessness and Financial Support Manager with Scottish Borders Council.  He has worked in the housing sector, mostly in local government, for over 30 years and has extensive experience of housing management, housing support, and homelessness.  David believes passionately in the right of everyone to live safely in a good quality home.  He joined the board of LinkLiving in 2007 and is proud to be able to contribute to the work of an organisation that makes a significant positive difference to the lives of so many people.  

Tom Nimmo

Tom Nimmo

Tom Nimmo worked with LinkLiving in the Edinburgh Young Persons’ Service as a Support W orker and Senior Support Worker from 1995 until his retirement in 2018.  He loved his job and met some amazing young people and colleagues during his time with LinkLiving.  Being on the Board is his opportunity to give something back to an organisation that means so much to him.  As a former front-line worker he brings unique perspective and experience to the Board. 

Amanda Ross

Amanda LinkLiving Board Member

 Amanda Ross works for the Nat West Group in VAT compliance . Amanda has a particular interest in finance, and joined the board when she recognised the need to provide care for isolated and vulnerable people in the community after her father required support as a result of dementia.  

Lucy Corbett

Lucy Corbett is a student at The University of Edinburgh and was previously supported by Link Living’s Young Persons Service. Lucy is passionate about the care and support of vulnerable and excluded people, and is delighted to contribute to the organisation that supported her. Lucy joined the Board in 2021 and brings this valuable lived experience to the team.
