Fife Older Persons’ Service - Social Cafés

What we do

The cafes not only offer older people an opportunity to socialise with others, but also can provide valuable respite to carers who are in most cases family members.

How we can help you

The Older Persons' Service has several volunteers who help our Project Workers run the social cafes each week in the following locations in Fife:

  • Tuesday at Torryburn Community Centre, Torryburn from 10.30am - 12.30pm
  • Wednesday at Parkgate Community Centre, Rosyth from 10.30am - 12.30pm
  • Wednesday at Larick Centre, Tayport from 10.30am - 12.30pm
  • Thursday at Maxwell Centre, Cowdenbeath 10:30am-12:30pm
  • Friday at Parkgate Community Centre, Rosyth from 10.30am - 12.30pm

The cafes are a real lifeline helping people to keep connected to their local community.
