LinkLiving Board Member vacancies
LinkLiving is looking for new Board Members to help grow and improve our services. LinkLiving’s main aim is to provide support to enable people to be healthy, happy and fulfilled and to make a difference through promoting positive improvements in people’s lives.
At LinkLiving we provide support and care services for around 950 people each year. We work hard to make a positive difference to the lives of people affected by social exclusion. We provide high quality, person-centred support services for People with vulnerabilities that include homelessness, mental health issues, learning difficulties and disabilities. We currently provide services in Edinburgh, Midlothian,Falkirk, Fife and North Lanarkshire. LinkLiving also has a range of successful volunteering and employability services . Our services can be accomodation-based and/or outreach support.

As a Board member you will gain valuable decision-making experience. Our Board members volunteer their time to prepare for and attend regular Board meetings, training and information events. Reasonable expenses are reimbursed.

We are keen that you have experience of receiving or delivering services similar to those we offer, or that you have experiences and skills which can bring new thinking to our approach.
We intend our Board to reflect our diverse population and welcome interest from all sectors of our communities.
Specific area of knowledge, skills and experience we are looking for include:
Health and social care
Customer service delivery
Business Improvement & Development
Marketing/ Fundraising & Procurement
IT and Information Management
