Step On to increased Self-Esteem

SmartLiving's Step On project is starting a new nine-week course to help people improve their self-esteem on Thirsday 21 April. 

The course is aimed at young people aged between 16-24 years living in temporary accommodation, offering one-to-one support to help build confidence and self belief. 

Would you like to understand yourself better, learn how to improve your thoughts and the way you see yourself and the world around you?  By the end of the course you will be able to answer these questions and have new insight into who you are and what makes you happy.

What does the course cover?

  • What is self-esteem?
  • Impact and problems with low self-esteem
  • Core beliefs
  • Social rules and assumptions we have
  • Challenging negative thoughts
  • Focusing on a positive you
  • Making good and positive changes  and following them through
  • A healthy self esteem and maintaining it.

The course runs for nine weeks starting Thursday 21 April from 12.30pm - 14.00pm at  Dr Bells Family Centre, 15 Junction Place, Edinburgh, EH6 5JA

All travel expense and childcare cost will be reimbursed.
